Web Apps

Web Apps is a feature aimed at monitoring the behavior of web applications from the end-user's perspective. Its main objective is to provide accurate and real-time data that helps identify potential issues, such as slow performance, errors, or access problems.

web-apps

Unlike tools focused exclusively on server analysis, Web Apps offers a comprehensive view of the user experience, allowing a precise identification of how applications perform in real-world scenarios.

Among its most notable features is the ability to segment collected data by networks or reporting groups, enabling a more granular and detailed analysis. Thanks to this, it's possible to:

  • Detect fault patterns.
  • Evaluate performance perceived by users.
  • Make informed decisions to optimize service quality.

Requirements

For the proper functioning of Web Apps, the following minimum requirements must be met:

  • FlexxAgent version 25.7.1 or higher. It is mandatory to have it installed and updated.
  • Flexxible Web Apps Extension. Installed and active in the browser.
  • Activation in Portal. The feature must be enabled through the settings of Products and Reporting Groups.

Flexxible Web Apps Extension

The Flexxible Web Apps extension is an essential component for the operation of Web Apps.

  • Requires FlexxAgent to operate.
  • Does not function independently.

Compatible Browsers

The Flexxible Web Apps extension is available for the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome: version 102 or higher
  • Microsoft Edge: version 102 or higher

Deploying

The extension can be downloaded manually, however, the deployment method will depend on the corporate environment and the organization's software management policies (for instance, GPO, Microsoft Intune, or other automated deployment tools).

After installing the Flexxible Web Apps extension, FlexxAgent automatically performs the necessary internal configuration for operation. The extension is updated via the browser itself and does not require manual intervention.
